President and Principal Consultant

Mickie Rops is the President and Principal Consultant. For over 25 years, she has guided over 200 organizations in their credentialing initiatives. Before establishing her consulting practice, she directed the startup and administration of several accredited certification programs and certificate programs for a national certifying body.
An Experienced Professional
She has decades of experience with credentialing programs of all shapes and sizes across many industries to draw upon in helping you design or improve your programs. And, as a former credentialing staff executive, she has walked in your shoes. She has a rich background upon which to draw to identify the best solutions for you.
Mickie has been an ANSI National Accreditation Board (ANAB) lead assessor for assessing compliance with the ISO/IEC 17024:2012 General Requirements for Bodies Operating Certification of Persons standard and the ANAB accreditation of personnel certification programs for over 20 years. She also serves as the national convener and lead technical advisor for ASTM International on the American National Standard ASTM E2659 Standard Practice for Certificate Programs, which is the standard against which the ANAB Certificate Accreditation Program assesses compliance. She led the ANAB training on certificate program accreditation for all assessors and program applicants from the program’s initiation in 2009 through 2020.

Jill R. van den Heuvel, PhD has over twenty years of experience as a psychometrician, having worked for several testing agencies, including ETS, CTB McGraw Hill, and Alpine Testing Solutions. She is currently President and Principal Psychometrician for van den Heuvel Consulting. She has a doctorate in research methodology from the University of Pittsburgh and is an I.C.E. Certified Credentialing Professional.
Jill is an ANAB psychometric assessor for assessing compliance with the ISO/IEC 17024:2012 General Requirements for Bodies Operating Certification of Persons standard and the ANAB Conference for Food Protection Accreditation Standard for food protection managers.
She is also a psychometrician for the ICE 1100:2019 Standard for Assessment-based Certificate Accreditation Program.

Joshua Goldman, MA, CAE, CTA is an innovative leader with 20+ years of progressive executive management experience in state, regional, national, and international nonprofit organizations focused on the intersection of learning, competency, credentialing, and workforce development. He specializes in the growth/expansion phases of an organization's maturity.
Josh was an ANAB assessor for assessing compliance with the ASTM E2659 Standard Practice for Certificate Programs standard and the ANAB accreditation of certificate programs and For ANAB’s industry recognized apprenticeship program accreditation.

Amy Roedl, PhD has over 20 years of experience in credentialing. She is the Director of Proficiency for the National Radon Proficiency Program and an independent testing consultant. Formerly, she was the Exam Development Manager for the National Restaurant Association. She has a Masters and PhD in Educational Psychology.

Liliana Meneses, EdD, is a Professor for the University of Maryland Global Campus. She has a Masters in international education, a Masters in instructional design and technology, and an educational doctorate in human and organizational studies.

Sherard Jones is the Chief Standards Officer for the International Accreditors for Continuing Education and Training (IACET) and is an independent consultant in credentialing and business startups. Formerly, he was the vice president of education and training for IAPMO. He has a Masters of Science in Workforce Development and holds The Ohio State University’s DACUM Facilitator Certificate.
Sherard has served as a commissioner and chair of the IACET Commission. He is an ANAB assessor for assessing compliance with the ASTM E2659 Standard Practice for Certificate Programs standard and the ANAB accreditation of certificate programs.

Kathi Edwards is an independent consultant specializing in transforming subject matter experts into facilitators of learning. She has served as facilitator for Association for Talent Development courses for over 15 years. Kathi is a Certified Association Executive and prior to launching her consulting practice, spent 25 years in learning and editorial positions for five trade and professional associations.
